The genre has gained immense popularity, and as a result, the French film production company Fright House Pictures along with producer and director Fabien Delage are releasing the very first Found Footage Anthology from France. A total of 8 French film makers directed 7 short films that are each 15 minutes. This combines to create an hour and 45 minutes of pure horror which is styled like VHS and Blair Witch! 3:15 am, which is inspired from the Devil’s hour, redefines Horror Anthology movies, but with a french twist!

Have you ever experienced evil just after 3:15 am? That jaw-dropping hour when the devil arises, and the gateway to the supernatural world opens for a split second. This new anthology draws the angle of 3:15am which is oftentimes feared by most fans of horror. This new angle of a time which is often associated with demonic possession, allows movie lovers to look at different genres which normally are considered to be absent through the innovative eyes of 8 directors. But here’s what we know for sure: the hour of 3:15 am does not only revive the Found Footage genre. It’s time to die.

The Wandering Spirit

At a season of his wife’s death anniversary, a man tries to capture the spirit of his wife who was taken away by the devil at 3:15 a.m. He is ranged in capturing real time footages for his daughter’s memoir, which shows his tragic mental state.

The Woman in the Attic

Directed by Evelyne Phan

A young chinese woman comes back to her family in France for New Year’s Eve. However, it seems a terrible secret is haunting her relatives. Just before meeting the living nightmare, she captures their testimonies on tape.

Shooting has started already, and fright house pictures are planning a DTV release in France and North America in 2015. So far, really amazing stuff is coming out of the French horror cinema.
