Inner Drive
How does a startup, founded far from the advantages and resources of the world’s tech hubs, go on to reach unicorn status? And more deeply, just how far can the drive for meaning and purpose ultimately take you? The inDrive documentary sets out to answer these questions.
The inDrive documentary is revealing for the first time ever rare footage of what makes the company tick, with interviews from those closest to it such as creator Arsen Tomsky. Instead of a typical corporate video that only scratches the surface, this content goes beyond their initial vision and delves into the philosophy behind inDrive. There will be moments shared that were never made public before; showing how deeply they have impacted communities.
This narrative is not your ordinary feel-good tale about one organization doing good things but rather an exploration into how every positive action can set off a chain reaction which changes lives forever this is what has happened with all initiatives taken by in Drive so far.
It’s Yakutsk’s ice-cold winter freezing cold temperature when people have no choice but to hop into over-priced taxis that leave them stranded outside. A group of individuals got together there and decided enough was enough. They became extremely popular amongst locals and grew into becoming one among many other taxi companies globally recognized as providing fair rides only charging what they should be charging.
The idea is simple enough at its core: if we stand together against any form of injustice then something will grow outwards from this shared belief system- whether it be an individual or organization’s act against power abuse or political corruption others too may join forces with us until finally even governments change due to pressure exerted through sustained non-violent direct actions undertaken jointly by people who refuse submission under illegitimate authority structures Thus here lies In Drive’s origin story: from frozen seed groundswell collective response making move towards justice.
According to Arsen Tomsky himself “We should concentrate on path not peak while we are running towards success. And when somebody does anything important for themselves during that process, they achieve an external environment at each iteration so that nothing can be taken away from them either by reaching or not reaching a summit.”
The film was made by Theo Papadoulakis who is famous for his ability to capture the resilience shown by ordinary individuals when faced with extraordinary circumstances as evidenced through over 70 international awards received thus far.
